For that reason, 787.VN safeguards and protects the privacy and confidentiality of Members' personal details promptly and carefully (including Members' credit card details). This safety and privacy policy applies to all 787.VN services (whether obtained from CUSTOMERS or available online, or through any other forum or device, collectively referred to hereinafter as the "website").
1. Purpose of information collection
When a Member makes a booking, the Member will be asked to provide information such as: the Member's name, address (home or office), email address (company or personal), phone number (mobile, home or office), credit card details (card type and number, CVC code, expiry date, cardholder name) and, where possible, booking preferences. This information is required to process, place and complete the Member's booking (including sending a booking confirmation email to the Member).
2. Scope of information use
For 787.VN services, 787.VN collects information for the following purposes:
Booking process: 787.VN will only disclose the Member's name, contact details and credit card details to the relevant airline with which the booking was made, in order to complete the Member's booking procedure and in cases of disclosure required by law for criminal investigation, litigation or trial proceedings. However, please note that 787.VN may occasionally use third-party distributors to provide certain services and functions for and on behalf of 787.VN. These third-party distributors may have access to (part of) the Member's personal information in order to carry out their services or functions, but are bound by confidentiality undertakings under which they may not use, share or disclose the information for any other purpose.
Newsletters and other information: If a Member wishes to subscribe to newsletters or other promotions or information from 787.VN (relating to the products and services of 787.VN, its member companies or partners), 787.VN provides the Member with an option to "opt in" to this service. If a Member no longer wishes to receive newsletters and other promotional communications from 787.VN, the Member may simply click the unsubscribe link.
787.VN's servers and network are protected by firewalls against unauthorized access, and 787.VN has an intrusion detection system that monitors and detects (attempts at) unlawful access to or misuse of 787.VN's servers. 787.VN sends emails to Members
After completing a booking, the Member will receive a confirmation message containing all information about the Member's booked ticket. The Member may bring this confirmation to the airport as proof of booking. Before the Member's departure date, 787.VN may send the Member an email containing information about the Member's destination, providing certain specific information (including third-party offers to the extent the Member has voluntarily opted in for this type of information) related to the Member's destination.
3. Information retention period
787.VN will store the personal information provided by customers on our internal systems for the duration of providing services to the Customer, or until the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, or until the Customer requests deletion of the information provided.
